Dr. Prabhanjan Gai is the Founder and Director of iNeel Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. Dr. Gai has obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from the B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology Hubli, Karnataka, India and Master of Technology in Biotechnology with highest honors (First Rank/Gold Medal) from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore, Karnataka, India.
Dr. Gai pursued his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (funded by the German Research Foundation) at the Freie University Berlin, Germany, in co-operation with the Institute of Tropical Medicine and International Health (ITMIH), Charité Medical University Berlin, Germany. He has also worked at the ITMIH focusing on investigating the human and parasite genetic factors influencing the risk and manifestation of infectious diseases in several countries.
Dr. Gai has worked in a Diagnostic Company in Berlin, Germany and has experience in development and evaluation of RT-PCR-based kits for the diagnosis of various diseases. He is experienced in grass-root organization, set up, and management of scientific projects. Dr. Gai has been actively involved in several international collaborative biomedical projects in India, Germany, Sri Lanka, and Rwanda.
Dr. Gai has working experience in a Biopharma Company in Goa and as Assistant Professor at the SDM University Dharwad. He has great blend of experiences in biomedical science, diagnostics and technology which produces a rare combination in understanding problems and delivering best solutions.
Mrs. Neeta Gai is Founder and Director of iNeel Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. Mrs. Gai is an Engineering Biotechnology graduate from B.V.B College of Engineering, Hubli and holds a M.Sc. degree in Molecular Medicine from University of ULM, Germany. She has wide range of expertise - disease diagnostics, immunology, and cancer biology. She has worked and has been associated with renowned Institutes in Germany such as ULM University and Max Delbrueck Center for Molecular Medicine, Berlin.
Mrs. Gai has also worked in the clinical trials field for a pharmaceutical company in Germany, and later worked as a Principal Investigator for a biomedical product development project funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. Through her vast experiences in the fields of oncology, auto immune diseases, human genetics, she can bestow the best possible analogies and critically evaluate the outcomes of the patient’s diagnosis.
Smt. Shobha Gai is one of the Directors in the iNeel Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. She is Managing trustee of the Varadhanvantari Foundation Trust Dharwad (a charitable organisation). She is engaged in variety of social work activities. She has involved herself in conducting several medical and blood donation camps in rural areas. During the recent COVID-19 pandemic she was engaged in creating awareness among the rural people about vaccination and distribution of free COVID-19 kits to the needy through the VDFT Dharwad.
